Do You Need Your
Hearing Tested?

We understand hearing loss can be
challenging and we want to help you.

How should I prepare for
the hearing test?

There is no special preparation for the test.

Try your best to remain still and quiet during the test so that an accurate recording can be made.

What happens during the test?

An audiometry evaluation is a painless, non invasive hearing test that measures a person's ability to hear different sounds, pitches, or frequencies.

Earphones will be placed on your head. You will be asked to sit still and not talk.

Hearing loss comes with
age but can affect anyone.

When should you have your child's hearing tested?

All children, including newborn babies (within hours after birth) should undergo a hearing test

Hearing tests should be performed on an annual basis to ensure there is no decline in your child’s ability to hear.

Do Not Compromise On Your
Child’s Hearing

Early intervention is of the utmost importance to ensure
that your child will develop normal speech and language skills,
and reach his/her full potential.

Statistics show that if a child with a hearing loss is fitted with
the appropriate hearing aids before 6 months of age, he or she
should be in a better position to continue developing speech,
language and his/her full learning potential.
